I cant play halo on any of my pc's.
it says ive had trouble with the graphics or something.
i downloaded a nVidia graphic thing to my new pc but it doesnt do anything to help it work.
I'm sorry if i posted it in the wrong section but i think this is the section to put it in.
Can someone tell me what to do?

yeah, if your graphics card is recently new you're running at too high an FPS rate. your comp specs would help though.

its a Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1400MHz 1.40 GHz,it has 384 MB of RAM,its a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2.
thats the specs i got right now.

what's the Video card's specs? some times it's the video card is the porblem.

The same place you'd find your display settings.

Go to your Start Menu and click on Run. Once the Run window pops up type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes) then click on OK. On the bottom left hand corner you'll see a green loading bar. Wait for that to complete. Once it's completed, click on the Display tab up on top. That will give you all the information and your graphics card.

ok, there you go, I would give you a better "where and how to find it" post, but I Windows Vista, and it's much different from XP when it comes to the control panel.

ok, next thing, does Halo start up and there's a pic of Halo in space in the back ground or something, and then a error box pops up that looks like this?

but with text in it? if so, start up Halo, hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard, and lets have a look at it.

Then it says Your computer's video driver is known to have serious issues with the game.A newer version that is compatible may be available.If you wish to update your drivers,please contact your computer manufacturer for any necessary assistance.I dont know what to do guys.
I ordered another video driver and its coming in next week.

Sorry about the triple post.The computer's bugging me and wont save the edit stuff.

np, the fastest way I know to update your drivers is to go into the window I told you to,

and hit "Abvanced Settings..." then a window should pop up that has a few tabs, and the first one that's open should say "Adapter" and it should look like this,

Please click on the botton that says "Properties", and a new window should pop up that looks like this,

then click on the tab label that says "Driver", and the window should look like this now,

click on the botton that says "Update Driver..."

A buddy of mine with a GeForce 8800 had to lock down his framerate to let Halo run. Perhaps your video card is too fast.

here's a quote I pulled from a thread in some other forums that was about Halo not working right with the Geforce 8800, "Halo hates antialiasing with a passion" hint hint. and I hate it when you start acting like vista is filth with a passion lance, I love vista, I wish I had a better computer screen so I can veiw it better, it's much better then you're "XP", so don't even start with me.

hmmm, that means you need to upgrade your GFX card, if nothing else just click on "Continue Anyway" when that error message pops up, and it should work.

you might run into the odd problem on some custom maps where for some reason your hands are stretched out black blobs. My friend had that problem, looked hilarious.

now, back ontopic, but before we do that, stop dising Vista until you try it, DONT KNOCK IT. or should I give you a quote from Keel? "Don't knock it until your try it" and Fear, just because H2V will not install doesn't mean it's vista's fault, it's the coding in H2V's shit, not vista. Lance, like I said you your post, for you comments, I'm going to have to get under you skin for that one, until you learn to keep those kind of things to your self. I keep my trap shut when it comes to most things about past windows and other OS, and if I can keep my big mouth shut, so can you.

I click continue in safe mode and it keeps saying it cant work.
Also,my mawmaw has Windows Vista but i cant play Halo on it.
It's slow and it even has 176 GB on it.
Well,back on topic now.
Umm,im going to try it again and if it doesnt work ill install that new graphics chip i ordered when it gets here.I ordered it Friday night.$11.00 for it.I was impressed.$5.00 plus $6.00 shipping.
Off of Ebay.
