Months ago, when I got the tank to the suspension bridge, there was no question. The banshee pillar was next. This is a trick I've had in my mind since I first started tricking years ago, and after 17+ hours of work, it is now a reality. This is Halo pushed to its absolute limit. I give you, the scorpion tank to the banshee pillar:

Some notes- I collected
every single grenade on the level. Yes, all the way up to the control room. The level was completely barren. Not including frag grenades (which I prefer not to use), my final count was around 340 grenades, with the potential for about 10 or 20 more.
- The grenade pile took about 10 hours to make. I knew from the beginning that there was no way I'd get the tank on the pillar with a sloppy pile (it would have no precision and not detonate properly), so I
really took my time and made the pile as tight as possible. In order to do this, I dragged a checkpoint for every single grenade drop.
I had to drag the checkpoint with one player, then drag it again with the second player when the first player was in position near the hog, and that checkpoint is a LONG ways away. I dropped my grenades against the wheel of a hog so they'd land perfectly and not scattered. If the grenade drop wasn't perfect, I'd simply revert until it was. I used the banshee beam a fair bit at the start, but after a hundred grenades, it barely made any difference.
Depending on how far away my grenades were and how long it took the grenades to land perfectly, a single drop took about 10 minutes. I had to do this 63 times.
- The launch, in total, took about 2 or 3 hours to land. I had to fidget with the set up several times until I got it right. When I did, it took rougly 6 minutes to land. To understand how annoying it was, smacking the tank even once in the front or back was enough to throw off the launch, so finding the perfect spot took a while.
- The grenade pile barely worked at 250, which is why I say this is Halo pushed to its limit. I'd say this is the max number of grenades that can be put into a single pile. Any more than this and the game can't detonate all of them at the same time, no matter how tight the pile is.
- I nearly gave up on this trick twice. First when the grenade pile wasn't working and then when I couldn't get the tank in the right spot. But I did everything I could to make that pile better and eventually it paid off. I cheered fairly loudly when I saw the tank actually stay on top of the pillar. The celebration in the video actually goes on for about a minute =D
*Spoiler*-The pile on top of the pillar is about 70 grenades strong, which was a little too strong, actually. Not like I'm complaining! After I got the tank on the pillar, given that my Xbox had been on for two days, I was going to call it quits, but I couldn't resist getting the tank to the highest point it will ever go on AoTCR.
Halo 1 Forever.

I'd like to add that this has to be one of the most massive launches ever done in Halo, or in any game, for that matter. This is definately worth a few minutes of your time, seeing as to the fact that it took 10-20 hours to do, and also because it is one of the greatest tricks ever.
